Mission Statement

To be an inclusive, positive, and passionate soccer club, that will allow the players to learn fair play, respect, and sportsmanship. We will provide a positive, supportive and safe environment where soccer players from all backgrounds are inspired to reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Show proper respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators. There is grace in not only winning, but also losing. There is zero tolerance for negative behavior. We rise above this behavior and choose to be a positive reflection of our team.

Hard Work

Persistence, hard work, and a positive attitude on and off the field can pay off with great successes.

Treat others the way you want to be treated and be considerate of other player's feelings. Show kindness and encouragement for those around you. Accept others for who they are. Be thankful and listen to those who are offering instruction and guidance.

Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Work as a team to teach each other new ideas and concepts and always be learning as a team, both players and coaches.

Continuously strive to improve upon our skills and reach the next level of play.

Sharks History

Not all kids are created equally!  While some might show promise from an early age, others may take a little longer to physically develop, or understand the intricacies of the game.  We saw there was a need to fill the void for those players who couldn't (or didn't want to) pay to play for big, expensive clubs, yet still desired to play organzied soccer at a competitive level, and continue to better their skills and grow as a player.

We wanted to make an affordable soccer club that  welcomed children of varying abilities and allow them the opportunity to play soccer,  to get their feet on the ball, and improve their abilities. What started out as a club of 13 players has grown into multiple teams and over 175 boys and girls playing for the West Sharks Family, and STILL GROWING !

Through skills and team training, paired with a whole lot of fun, we strive to help young soccer players develop to their full potential and hopefully foster a love for a competitive and enjoyable lifetime of soccer.   The Sharks are a completely volunteer-run club.  We are truly blessed to have a very supportive group of parents who believe in the same ideals.
